Welding Rod InstructionsStep 1: Clean and polish the surface of the base metal.Step 2: Heat the surface of the base metal at the welding point until the wire reaches an operating temperature of 380°C so that the wire can be formed by heat transfer from the base metal.Note: Do not use a flame-fired wire. The wire can only flow and penetrate the metal capillary tube when the surface temperature of the base metal is high enough.
